The memoirs of Mac and Simone Leng were published as a book titled "Invisible: Surviving the Cambodian Genocide." Meet Mac and Simone, review the facts of the genocide, discuss how they survived, and explore their life after genocide as refugees in the US. We will read and discuss passages of the book together.

Frances T. Pilch, PhD in International Relations from Yale University. She originated a course on “War Crimes, Genocide, and Human Rights” while at Yale. She has been a Fulbright scholar in South Africa and Mongolia and has published widely on genocide.
