#2021 Special Event: Australian Silo Art

Moderator: Aaron Casey

Australian Silo Art will introduce the “big art” of Australia’s Outback. Farm towns across the continent are adorning grain silos and water towers with colorful, evocative, sometimes brooding murals that tell stories, attract tourists, and revitalize the rural landscape all at once. Initially, we explore the genesis of this community-building idea in one remote town, and then we pivot to a panel in Australia. The movement has inspired the creation of a silo-art trail around which you can build an epic road trip on your next visit Down Under: www.AustralianSiloArtTrail.com.
