#3029 Zoom class: An Introduction to Stoic Philosophy: Reading Epictetus
Thursday, October 9, 10:00am - 12:00pm


This class provides participants an opportunity to read a highly influential early Stoic philosopher, Epictetus. Born a slave with a
bad leg, he gained his freedom and became one of the most famous philosophers in Rome in the 1st and 2nd centuries. This
will be a Great Books method class, where the students will read the short book first and then the instructor will entertain questions
