#1040 The Amache National Historic Site at Granada,
Colorado: A Japanese American Internment Camp (1943-45)
Tuesday, February 24, 10:00am - 12:00pm
Amache Japanese Internment Camp opened in 1942 and closed in
1945. This presentation will be a patriotic story of 31 former
Amache residents who volunteered to fight the Nazis in the
special 442nd Japanese American regiment and were killed in
action.
