#2005 Walk: Discover Native Plants of the Pikes Peak Region
Tuesday, May 12, 9:00am - 12:00pm (note time)
We will do an easy walk/hike along the trails in the Garden of the Gods to look at early blooming native plants and to discuss our
colonial history and impact of non-native plants. Max: 20.
Location: Meet at the parking lot at Rock Ledge Ranch, 3105 Gateway Rd (across from the Garden of the Gods visitor center)
Maggie has a red van parked in the southwest corner of the parking lot. Bring water, hat, and sunscreen. (2-4 mile walk)
Maggie Gaddis: PhD in Education from University of Arizona. Dr. Gaddis is the Executive Director of the Colorado
Native Plant Society.
