Description

#2070 U.S. Global Strategy Shift: What It Means for Asia and Beyond: Trump Administration’s 2025 National Security Strategy
Tuesday, August 11, 10:00am - 12:00pm

The National Security Strategy and the National Defense Strategy detail the Trump administration’s strategic orientations. Both of these documents reflect a shift of emphasis from a concentration on Europe and East Asia to the Western hemisphere. This class will examine specifically how this shift in orientation likely will influence the security relationships and commitments the United States has with South Korea and Taiwan.
